what is the best and cheapest way to add drainage for football pitch?
i am building a 6-a-side football pitch in my garden. what is the best form of drainage i should use? i want to keep costs to a minimum. the existing soil is quiet gravelly and the land is very uneven.
i am thinking i should break up the ground with a rotor (sorry i don’t know actual gardening/farming terms), add a layer of gravel for natural draining and then add top soil followed by the grass seeds.
ill most likely add pipes for sprinklers so maybe i can add a few for draininge.
any help would be appreciated
maybe you can contact a landscape company and get ideas from them.
